Good old fashioned poutine, burgers, hotdogs and the unique in BC, Maple twist ice cream. We’ve been coming here for many years and the place is very family friendly. A good place to check out when you are in New Westminster.
Absolutely amazing poutine. Ordered the Large size Smoked Meat Poutine for 18 and its gigantic. They dont skimp on anything. Lots of meat and cheese curds. Would come back anytime.
Super affordable and satisfying poutine and soft serve. The poutine is properly seasoned, fries are creamy inside but well fried on the outside and the curds are melty and give great cheese pulls. The maple soft serve is everything you want in soft serve and not too sweet! The service is quick, friendly and reliable! They know what they are doing. Just be warned that there is no AC and it is HOT in the summer heat. I recommend getting the poutine and eating in the shade outside for some air and returning for ice cream when you're ready.
Anny’s smoked meat poutine is next level. The fries were crispy, the curds were fresh and squeaky, and the smoked meat just melted in your mouth. Total comfort food, no regrets. Plus, the people there were super friendly and chill, felt like they actually cared. Just good food and good vibes all around. Definitely coming back.
A new west staple. Comfort food. I await their reopening after every winter hiatus! Anny, the owner is the best, she remembers my order and gives above and beyond service and teaches her workers to deliver the same. Poutine and burger are my go to- my mum likes the hotdog Fries on their own are so nostalgic and delicious. The maple twist will be back in a few weeks with the warmer weather. It is made with real maple syrup and always will remind me of my grandma Casie she loved it . Anything I get here is home cooked and heart warming. 10/10 always
We came here looking for a poutine on Canada Day and were thrilled to find an authentic French Canadian spot. The service was fantastic and the woman working was very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic food. The maple swirl cone is a must!
THIS PLACE IS SUPERB!! HEY MONTREALERS, QUEBECERS, back East!! You are NOT forgotten out here in BC. This place in New Westminster is like stepping into Montreal! Real steamies, incredible fries, amazing poutine-OHH MY! Original Steamies- all dressed with coleslaw even- or not! REAL back East cheese curds poutine, and back East gravy (St Hubert)! Back East smoked meat sandwiches on rye-oh Lord what a treat. There are soft treat ice cream cones-with Quebec maple syrup even, and more. The owner is there always- working hard-and she is just great to chat with! We are SO glad to tell EVERYone about this place- and especially if you need a taste of home! Bonne Journee tout le monde!!
Used to go here 20 years ago and just found out it was still around. Still had excellent food and customer service. Cannot wait to be back more often
